e portfolio
Anyone using e portfolios to share student work with parents? Ideally, we would like to share .pdf, .avi, and .jpeg files with a password protect. A first grade teacher has collected about 12 pieces for each student and not sure which tool would meet all the requirements listed.

Did you ever find an e portfolio to showcase work? I think it would be an awesome way to let parents see their work. Thanks for sharing if you found a way.

Yes, we used an online photo sharing site that our school pays for annually. Smugmug.com pro account allows pictues and videos to be uploaded to share. There is also settings which allow for password protection. Parents enjoyed listening to oral readings at parent conferences to show growth during the year!

Google Apps works well also and is free :-)
