Students write/edit scripts, and then record/edit their work at their computer. They save their practice audio file in their folder on the student network, and save their final recording to a designated folder on the network. I can then easily upload it on my computer. If you do not have a student network, then save to a flashdrive or CD.
I have recently trained other teachers how to use Crazy TAlk and our principal purchased it for each teacher at the training session:).
It is less expensive for the EDU version - contact a representative. They were very accomodating and quickly responded to questions and requests.
I checked out your wiki and I LOVE it! It looks great and really easy to follow for the kids. I love that you have a theme this year in the lab. Wish I could come up with something that clever! I would love to hear more about the projects you will be doing!
Great job.
(PS How did you get your pages in the correct order, as opposed to in alpha order?)
My 7th grades does computer applications. Basically only the first 10-15 minutes is keyboarding (longer if they are being loud or playing around). Since we had a different computer teacher each year for the last 4 years, they didn't "learn" keyboarding. I'm trying to break old habits and get them up to the speed and technique requirements for the high school. Thanks for being willing to share so much!!
All you need to do is find where it says RSS on your page here, then copy and paste the feed link to you blog (if you want to do your posts from your blogspot blog it would be http://visionsbyvicky.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default. You can also rearrange the order in which everything appears on this page. Just click the headings of each section and drag them around!
Hope this helps.
