I am an elementary technology teacher (K-5) and absolutely love my job! I am also a supermom of 3 - M is 21, S & S (yes, twins) are 19 and all away at college. It's just me and hubby (and our pet Beagle)!
How often do you see each of your classes?
I see my 2nd - 5th grade classes once a week with a rotation schedule on Fridays. Kindergarten and 1st grade meet two times a week with a rotation schedule on Fridays.
I like your avatar. It seems similar to mine. Mine is from doppelme.com. I am kind of new to technology. I teach grade one at an elementary/high school. We don't have an IT person to teach computers so the classroom teacher does it. I am having fun learning as much as I can and am enjoying blogging, too.
Hi Terri- I'm glad we're friends, too. I don't have much background - I've had a mac for about 5 years now and just love it. I have been doing more technology just in the past year... started out with voicethread and then started my blog last spring. It can be addictive. I spend lots of my spare time on the computer. Did I tell you I am from the States? Don't have any kids but I come from a big family so have lots of nieces and nephews. I am sure you will be a great help to me so thanks. I'm giving a workshop at the end of the month on blogging. I made a wiki and I'm going to give my presentation from that. Instead of a handout people will go away with a business card with my wiki address. Instead of typing in addresses all they will have to do is click. I will check you out on twitter.
