Do you use Google docs with your classes? If so, do you use Google Apps Education Edition or Google Apps Standard Edition or something else? Do your students have gmail accounts?
I've been playing with the Google Apps Standard Edition because I can assign my students fake email addresses from the school so they can each have a separate identity so I can track who did what on a document, etc.
Does this seem like the right approach to take to you or would the Education Edition be better? That just seems like overkill to me and I don't really want to do anything that reassigns email from the domain through Google I don't think and I believe that is what the Education Edition does.
It's great to see another teacher from Wichita, KS here! Welcome! I might be picking your brain as well. I teach at St. Thomas Aquinas. I'm part time and teach K-8. I was reading on the Google page that their rules require students to be 13. Do you use it with your elementary kiddos?
Once again, Welcome. This is a great place for information and learning. I've learned bunches!
