I'm curious as to what other schools do.....all of our teachers have their own printer, and as a former classroom teacher, I definitely see the benefit.  However, I've already replaced 3 printers…Continue

Do your students have email accounts? And, public or private?

A lot of the 2.0 tools I'd like to use require the user to set up an account.  Do your students have their own accounts?  And if so, do they use them to sign up on sites like Prezi, Scratch,…Continue

"Our K4 teacher uses Raz-kids, which seems like a good site and easily used by 4-5 year olds.  They like to look at how many points they've earned from reading.  I've never used Tumblebooks, though."

printers, ugh

I'm curious as to what other schools do.....all of our teachers have their own printer, and as a former classroom teacher, I definitely see the benefit.  However, I've already replaced 3 printers this year, the cartridges seem to run out quickly, and someone's always having problems with theirs.  I'm the only tech support, so I'm wondering if this is worth the hassle and cost - the school pays for the printers and ink, and the myriad of tech support problems leaves me little time to plan for…See More
