Thanks for sharing.  This is the first year that we requested that the students bring thier own headphones or earbuds.  I was concerned about storage and the easiet way to be able to issue them and collect without anyone misplacing.  My problem is solved thanks to this post.  Going to either Walmart or Dollar store to see what kind of deal i can find. I need the same quantity that you have.  Is that idex cards that you are using?

Our PTO ordered them online from Wal-mart and had them shipped to the store ( I think) . They have been such a blessing!! They are a set of 3 drawers and I stacked 2. I took the tops off the bottom set and they snapped together.  I also left the wheels off as well. I am in a very small room and this was the best way to store the head phones. Yes, they are index cards I printed on the computer.

Hi!  How many headphones can you fit in in each drawer?  How long is each?  I am trying to see if this is will fit in my lab.  Great idea!

Hi Rose,

This is basically what I had my PTO to order for the lab:

I left the wheels off and stacked them 2 high. The drawers are good size and hold a class set of headphones/earbuds.

Hope this helps!
