What grade level do you teach in this lab?  Its looks very calming from the photos. Organization is impeccable. I want your lab. :)  What do you store in the bins?  Sorry for all the questions, but I am in awe right now.

I teach K-5th grade. I do not turn on the overhead lights, just the side lights so as not to have a glare on the monitors. I am a very organized person overall...very OCD. The bins are used for headphones or what ever needs a home. I love the Dots on Chocolate and fall colors. I think the kids do too because they don't want to leave the lab. Of course a lot of the items I got from this site. I guess since I spend 8-10 hours a day there I want it to feel homey!

I love the side lights. I would love to have those. My students love me to turn the overhead lights off . It seems like they are calmer without all the lights on.

I agree about the students being calmer. They can focus better without the glare on the monitors. I also have a lamp on my file cabinet that I turn on to give it that home feeling.
