New Technology Teacher (prek - 8)
Hello Tech Teachers,
I am new to the site. I am a second year middle school mathematics teacher and a new first year prek-8th grade technology teacher. Monday, was the first day that I taught computers. To my surprise it went really well from the teachers to the principal. First day it was overwhelming because I teach computers back to back. The prek - k classes were tiring. Though I am a teacher, I don't have patience of the smaller ones. Lol! If any, please give me suggestions of activities thats appropraite for their grade level. Thanks! Suggesstion are welcome :)

I created a page that worked well with kindergarten. I would demonstrate each activity (usually just a couple per class, sometimes only one) first then let them get to work. I often began with a short video relating to the topic of the day too. Only 2 Clicks is in the midst of upgrading their server, but hopefully it will be back up soon. I have a similar page on Tizmos but decided I preferred the features of Only 2 Clicks, but in the meantime, Tizmos has upgraded their service.
I think my biggest piece of advice to anyone teaching technology is ALWAYS have a Plan B.
