Probably not unless one of the classroom teachers does this since the actual swearing in starts at 8:30am which is when school starts. I don't teach until 1pm that day. If a classroom teacher does it they'll just watch it on TV since all of the classrooms have TVs.
Yeah same here. I should've mentioned: a teacher asked me where to go on the web to watch it, so I wanted to send out the information to everyone. Thanks!
From what I have heard, this day may very well bring down the "super highway" to a stand still. They are predicting that an unsurmountable number of people will be attempting to view via the web. My suggestion would be if your school have cable, access the events that way. Project to a large screen for multiple classes to view in a library, gym, learning center. Not sure if I will even attempt the web that day....
Oh good point. I may want to rethink what I'm doing in the lab that day though since I only teach in the afternoon on the west coast it may not be bad at that point. Hmmm, I think I better have a Plan "B".
I didn't look at Jennifer's link to see if this is duplicate information, but I happened to get an email about live streaming, Peter Reynolds of FableVision is hosting!
