Interruptions to your class

This year I am having SOOOO many interruptions to my teaching time I barely see some of the kids to teach. Is this something that happens at other schools too?

Every Mon. our Behavior coach comes in to do Second Steps which takes most to all of the class time for every class I have that week (we are on block schedule). Then one Monday a month it will be Character Education instead of 2nd Steps. On Tues and Thurs my 5th graders (who I'm supposed to test in March) are pulled out for Orchestra. Various 1st graders are pulled out for Reading Recovery during my time with them. When our art teacher gets back from maternity leave she will probably be starting art club up again with 5th grade on Friday. Also on Friday I don't see my K or 3rd because they go to music. The on Monday some kids that are really low started getting pulled out for part of class to get extra help.

I'm supposed to give grades in the form of O, S or NI every 6 weeks. Even though I won't see them hardly my principal won't let me not give them a grade so I guess it will be a lot of S's going around as I don't feel I can fail them or say they are outstanding when I don't see them.
